Dillon Bell and special teams honky missile Cole Speer the last two standing.

I know that part of it is negative recruiting, and Georgia gets clobbered on the recruiting trail with receivers (Georgia receivers don't put up big stats, Georgia isn't a wide receiver friendly offense, etc.), but the class that Coley just pulled in proves that it can't totally be explained away by negative recruiting.

How did Kirby allow this to be "the standard" is my question.

Well, his receivers actually caught the ball most of the time.

Most of the time can still be considered awful since its relative to other schools

Also, he probably knew he was on his way to the NFL and his attention could have been focused there prior to leaving well in advance

Another theory:

Kirby: Damn these receivers suck eggs, let's allocate more of our budget & resources toward recruiting the 2025 guys
