Long story short, Lewdawg is the biggest dork around, and now that Dawgrant is dead, they've lifted my ban.

Where does Haynes King rank on your all time tech QB list

Haynes King will continue to improve - he was basically unstoppable and had eliminated INTs before Notre Dame fricked him up. And now this season he will improve to avoid injuries. Haynes King is beyond reproach - off the field he ranks #1 & is a head coach in waiting. On the field he ranks w/ JT & Josh Nesbitt.

Why didn’t UGA pursue Buster Faulkner and Aaron Philo? Aaron Philo is genuinely one of the best quarterbacks around and GT’s backup. You might want to ask where he ranks too

Georgia announces target date for planned concert in Sanford Stadium

So, we now know when, how ‘bout who?
It probably won’t be, but Panic at Sanford would be pretty epic.

Man, this deserves its own thread

I remember back when Sanford was first opened up to a concert featuring a multi billion record selling Georgian that millions of regional concert goers want to see, but the snobs and retards in this board we’re pissed that it wasn’t an acoustic set by 70 something year olds rem or phish

The guesses will be fun

They’re not my cup of tea, but they would sell out in about 30 seconds. Would be a shite show though.
I think a number of country guys would probably sell out pretty quickly too, Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, and probably Luke Combs could probably fill it up also.
Then you got some wild cards, Metallica's on tour right now, stranger things have happened. George Strait? Garth Brooks?
RIP Brother Gregg Allman, Allman Brothers there would’ve been pretty cool.

They all would. Athens self absorbed kookery is a tiny minuscule speck compared to the people that work.

1000%, it’ll be a country act if they want a sold out franchise

Think it’s safe to say, from the context of the DN article, that Josh Brooks wants to see this go well, so I’m guessing they start with somebody huge that will sell out fast. I’m betting multiple currently popular country guys like the one before. Still think they should get weird with it, Panic and Dead & Co. or something.

My YouTube premium algorithm sent me links to both recently.

I watched a minute or two from Dead and co at the Sphere in Las Vegas and it was awful. The inertia for that band is long gone. You’d think the sphere would be a no brainer for them but the graphics were all retarded modern cartoons designed by some senior vet roadie’s 23 year old 5th wife or something.

I also flipped around through a few songs of Panic at Red Rocks and it was pretty nostalgic. Holds up pretty good. But man, I hate to say it. John Bell is dragging. Everything else seems about the same as it can be but he’s like three steps behind it felt like

Did not realize how good this song is. Chaka one of the more underrated voices imo

Highlight of the video is tambourine man in the back left.

That bass is tighter than Darin's a-hole.

Tambourine isn't as easy as it looks. I was in a studio once, my guitar tracks already laid down, just hanging out, and they decided they need a tambourine track and I was the guy just lounging around so they said "you, deeprig9, put a tambourine track down on this real quick" and I was like "sure, an extra credit in the liner notes" but it took 4 takes to get it right, and I wasn't even doing fancy shite. They still had to stitch and quantitize in the mix a little.

Agree it would be more about what those bands represent, rather than what they currently are, but still vastly more interesting than, say, Morgan Wallen or Post Malone, and it would still legitimately sell an assload of tickets. Recreate Super Jam with them and a big line up of opening bands.

I just got turned on to this last night, I can't believe I never knew this existed.

Certainly you are all aware of Band of Gypsys, the 3-piece with Hendrix, the greatest 3-piece rock band of all time. Did you know after Jimi checked out, Buddy Miles teamed up with Santana for a live show to perform an epic version of "Them Changes" ?

Of all the shitpost music I've posted over the years, this one is a true winner. I'm in love with this version.
