Just snubbed Stet. Not sure you can do anymore as a walkon than go undefeated in conference and make the playoffs.

He has done great as a walk-on or even a last second offer. He has done amazing.
I honor his accomplishments and effort. It is time for him to say, coach, I know JT is our chance to win the title.

Maybe the rest of the universe is more objective about Bennett than a few here?
The guy who won, Grant Morgan, is considered a likely 2nd-3rd round NFL pick this spring. That's pretty good for a former walk-on.

Roll player, qb is far harder to play by a mile, more so having to overcome 4-5 star guys to get the start when told you wouldnt ever play at uga twice.

overcome 4-5 star guys? Well...not sure he overcame anyone. He's playing because a guy got injured for at least half the season or more. The question is whether that guy is still injured or something else is going on.
Nonetheless...I agree that credit should be given for the complexity of the role. Honestly, I actually thought Bennett was going to win this award. I wonder if the SECCG hurt his chances.
