I don't care what the record says, the Braves are the worst team in baseball right now.

Their bullpen is a useless disaster. There is no bridge at all between the starting pitching and Kimbrel.

BJ Upton and Uggla just need to be released.

Actually, nobody in the starting lineup makes me want to watch them play.

If they don't get a good relief pitcher in a trade, they will finish with a losing record.

wrong...

their problem isn't primarily the pitching...which could be a little better...its the 11+ runners they stranded last night...pitchers can only do so much when the offensive production is as bad as it is....they cannot get a hit when they need one...when Freddie hit that triple...everybody after him shat the bed....that is a huge problem...

BJ doing good in the leadoff spot...anybody got thoughts on Lastella? I think he is way better (and cheaper obviously) than Uggla...they need to let Dan go...I was against it but now I am on that bandwagon...

Yeah La Stella has been great (still think Peraza is the guy long term) and I think it's time to finally get rid of Dan. Even if that means eating his contract. It's a waste of a roster spot.

La Stella has been great. really impressed by how he bounced back after that slump. If TLS continues to hit, could we move Peraza to 3rd? He's only in AA right?

Braves taking advantage of this weak schedule is awesome, hope we can keep it up.

Depends on his arm strength. A lot of guys get put at 2B because of the inability to make an accurate longer throw. That's why you see guys make the SS to 3B transition a lot more.

well i think he played SS and then moved to 2nd because of Simmons being the future at SS. So the arm should be there.

How about that diving flip from La Stella last night?? His defense is coming around nicely. I think watching Simmons has helped him. Back-to-back sweeps, let's go boys!!

If that's the case, then CJ could be solid trade bait this time next year, assuming they want to keep a pure singles hitter at 2B for the foreseeable future. If not, then LaStella could be the trade bait.

Yeah, I think I like Tommy's game better than Johnson's.

High OBP
Low Strikeouts
Young

TLS would be a good 2 hole hitter in the right line up

Agreed. I like him in the 7 hole for now while he's going through the adjustments a young major leaguer needs to make. He has the make up to be a good top of the order guy, just wish he had more speed.
