For the love of god, do not let Stetson take another snap. We need to fully commit to finding our QB for next season. Vandagriff is the front runner, but we still need to develop some of the talent we already have. This season is a wash at this point, but it doesn't mean that we can't make our remaining games productive.

I want to win games now. If Bennett is our best, play him.

The QB we need to win big isn’t on our roster, so no need to waste time and possibly games with them.

We need to nail down a quality transfer who isn’t a quitter, and hope Brock is ready to go.

Bennett can beat everyone left on the schedule with mizzoo being a coin toss 7-3 is a winning season.

Next year will be exactly what this year and the year before was. If we’re lucky. Five years of nearly the same thing. One of those pretty good, one pretty bad and three average. It’s who we are.

There is no point to playing Stetson Bennett. He’s not even responsible with the ball.

I doubt all of this.

Bennett could be effective if we took advantage of his athletic ability. The model was demonstrated in our first scoring drive vs Florida.
Bennett or Mathis should be a running threat on every down.
Scheme the lead blocking to the right and let them pass over the defenders if they come up to stop the run.
Run jet sweeps to the left side often enough keep the defense honest/balanced.
Honestly I don't get why Monken after seeing Bennett pick up nice yardage keeping the ball didn't roll him out more to take advantage of his athletic ability.
When Bennett gets tired from running, bring in Mathis and do the same thing.
Obviously I'm not an OC and no doubt such a scheme is more complex that I perceive but it doesn't look like our coaches are taking advantage of Bennett's athletic ability.
I don't think Bennett or Mathis will ever be effective pocket passers.
