I've seen this phrase used many times in the past. I don't think I've really seen it used much this year. Compared to last year, I don't think anyone has really used it much.

But THIS team is special.

We overcame sleepy starts. We overcame bad defensive and offensive performances.

This team has been through the gauntlet of the SEC regular season and won the championship. Not like last year, which went widely untested until the SEC championship loss.

This team had those come from behind games. It experienced overlooking teams and bad performances from both sides of the ball. But somehow found a way to keep winning every game.

2021 uga was absolutely special. 2022 continues that. It's a DAMN GOOD DAY TO BE A DAWG

Did not expect this team to start 13-0 (best in school history) with an SEC title and #1 ranking heading into the CFP.

Georgia used to be a punchline for coming up short in big games and now has a legitimate chance to repeat as champs. Incredible.

I know potentially a repeat nation champ trophy would be nice...
but literally i put this 13-0 sec champ as equally as impressive. If we make it through the next 2 games it'll be even more impressive. Last year we got a REMATCH to our only SEC loss for national champion. This feels on equal footing and only a chance for even greater.
