No. they're not. I was merely responding to the claim the UGA had not beaten a team with a winning record. It's not true.
Now, look at Western Kentucky's schedule and tell me how many teams they beat that were better than the ones we beat.

Yep. We were really bad this year, especially after losing Chubb. No way we deserved to be ranked.

In your opinion did Western Kentucky deserve to be ranked?
You guys are acting like we are saying we should have been ranked in the top 10. Nope. Just #25 or so. I think we belonged there. BUT...this is only my opinion, and the pollsters have their own opinion.

That's not our claim to fame. just saying that Tennessee has a very good team. Think about this for a second....has Chubb stayed healthy for the entirety of the Tennessee game, we would have ended up ranked in the top 15.

Had Tennessee scored 22 more points spread over 4 games they would have been undefeated. They were actually a very good football team. better than many give them credit for.

Probably not, but Mississippi State had far more of a case than we ever did, probably several other teams too. We would have been 6-6 in the west this year. They managed 9-4, and looked pretty damn good most of the time.
Arkansas is better than us, actually, Auburn is probably the only team in the best that isn't better than us. Maybe Texas A&M without either quarterback.
I would probably have us somewhere between 30-35 just because the defense is good.

Good point. I wasn't going by anyone else who did not get ranked. I was merely going by who was ranked ahead of us. Getting back to Mississippi State, though.....they really didn't beat anyone, either. I mean,nobody any more impressive than UGA. They got beat badly by Alabama (as we did) Don't get me wrong...I might be inclined to rank them higher than UGA, but I'm not positive I would.
Well...it's only opinions, since they didn't play, I guess.

Wow. That's an interesting statistic. Still say we should have been ahead of 2-3 other teams, but it is what it is.

Yep, that alone suggests the AP poll is an outlier.

Probably watched us struggle against Ga. Southern and Tech. I wouldn't have ranked this team either.
