Do you have reading comprehension issues? Pretty sure that's what I just said.

I have no problem with this as long as this board doesn't become overwhelmed with political posts. I can easily see that some of our posters from dawgrant might not want to go head first into the Political Talk board on TD.

Im actually ( ) with Jeffy on this

I started a thread on the help board a week ago about it actually. Simply because I know a lot of the old crew here probably wont venture out into the BR-centric OT, and understandably avoid the SECr

For fricks sake. Cram us all into one room after having a whole board to play on and some real gay gayness comes out. like lord of the fricking flies

May I ask your philosophy on the matter?

No God
Yes God, but I have doubts
Just don't know
Yes God but I don't pray
Other

I've fallen into all those categories at some point in my life. At one point I was so screwed up I was praying to a God I didn't even believe in.

That's the whole point! God wants you to believe in him without him having to show himself. It's called faith! That's the only way to salvation faith in God and believing in what he did for you!

If he did reveal himself then we would have no choice but to believe. He wants us to have a choice. He didn't want us to be mindless robots and be forced to believe in him. That wouldn't be true love. Choosing to love and believe in him is what he wants.

Don't do this. Acting like a tool about "what god DID for me" will get you deep fried

If you want to look at God from a I don't know if he's real standpoint think about this.....

If you believe in God and what he did for you and it turns out he's .......

Not real
You are just dead

Real
Your in heaven for eternity

If you don't believe in God and what he did for you and it turns out he's

Not real
Your just dead like you thought.

Real
Your in hell for eternity.

That's quite the chance to take.

Did you know the same percentage of people that get sober at AA get sober without AA. The rate is about 5 percent for both groups in clinical studies. Bottom line is a person quits drinking or they don't. AA is no more effective than going cold turkey. Some studies even showed a lower rate of recovery for the AA group which was attributed to being exposed to the suggestion of booze everyday. AA is a soft cult. I went for a while back in the mid 90's; didn't work for me...

You're really gonna use the "if I'm wrong Satan has sex with my soul for a billion years" routine?

Try again chump.

I'll take all the whores and cocaine I can stand in the life I actually know about.

Yes Gatoid. I'm more than aware of the recovery statistics

AA and NA have an abysmal rate of success. People are far better off conditioning themselves to fight their addictions on a daily basis

Or just letting the gubment take care of them
