Kirby referred to him as the motor of the D-Line several times and I know he was injured for most of the year but I haven't heard anything new out of him lately.

Anyone have any updates on this kid? He is a fantastic player and I love watching him play.

What the frick is wrong with him? Isn't it just a foot injury from like 3 months ago ?

He had surgery on said foot injury. Out until fall camp is my understanding.

Broken foot and surgery. Probably had to put a pin in the broken bone or fuse it. It's like the Robert Edwards foot injury from 1995.

Same thing happened to Clemson's DE, Austin Bryant in high school at Thomas County. Broken foot the third game of his senior year, surgery, out for the rest of that season. He came back strong, though, and I am sure Marshall will, too.

I have a metal plate and 10 screws in my fibula and tibia. I was back playing sports in 3/4 months.

I had surgery and spent two days in the hospital.

Then I had complications from a blister during that surgery of septic getting into my blood stream and traveling to my heart.

So, yea...I have broken my foot before.

Still a lot different than breaking your foot.

Aside from the tibia and fibula not being part of the foot, foot fractures can have a lot more consequences than tib-fib fractures. But obviously you already know that.
