Bigger point being is that sometimes even when ya lose in November and to unranked teams, if the chips fall your way and your division is a cluster frick you can contend for a NC

Easily the worst national title team since 1984, but they earned it over the sec east runner ups, though that 44-34 win over Troy was super impressive.
