I think Pods where A&M isnt in one is Texas is what got the Aggies on board. They were bitching huge about being in the same division.

Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky
Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
Ole Miss, Miss State, LSU, Texas A&M
Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas

This is exactly the plan. The only question is whether each team will get one permanent game outside their pod. For those who wonder "how do we determine who goes to the championship game with four division winners", its not hard. There are two ways to do it:

1. Each division would play a another division, similar to the NFL, whereas you could crown the team with the best record of those two divisions to play the team with the best record from the other two divisions.
2. Two highest ranked teams.

In this new format Georgia's schedule could look like:

Year 1

1. South Carolina
2. Florida
3. Kentucky
4. Mizzou
5. Oklahoma
6. Texas
7. Arkansas
8. Auburn (permanent)
9. OOC
10. OOC
11. OOC
12. OOC

Year 2

1. South Carolina
2. Florida
3. Kentucky
4. Ole Miss
5. Mississippi State
6. LSU
7. Texas A&M
8. Auburn (permanent)
9. OOC
10. OOC
11. OOC
12. OOC

etc.

Keep the divisions, go to 9 conference games, do away with permanent cross division opponents because the ones worth salvaging will be in the same division now.

Schedule would include:

Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Kentucky
South Carolina
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
SECW
SECW
OOC
OOC

I'm sure Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee would all be fine with this. You kind of alienate the Mississippi schools and LSU with this and put them in a former Big 12 division, which they may be fine with. It would start off as the much weaker division, but could change.

No divisions.. Lock 3 rivals rotate 6. Top 2 play for SECC.
You see every team over 2 years and play every team away and home at least once every 4 years.
