Had no idea Marcus was the son of the LB Marcus Washington who was on the roster I think from 05-09.
He was a guy in the front seven who contributed a lot down the stretch of that fun 07 season, but I think injuries really hurt his career. Wish his kid the best wherever he ends up.

Marcus Washington reclassified and graduated a year earlier. That probably didn’t help.

I think he re-classified in order to get in and ahead of the next big db class we were bringing in. Like he knew Ringo was gone after last year and there’d be a slot. Then Lassiter will go and there’ll be another. But corner is one spot we don’t rotate really so there’s usually only one starting spot available per year.
