The episode ends with an overhead shot of Zosia framed in a perfect circle
-some kind of circular New Mexico gazebo with a few lines pointing equidistant to/from the center (that are perfectly accidental, a wink, wink)
-I’m not making anything up . Just translating geometry

Here’s another thing I completely missed on the first watch somehow:
-before Carol starts making her parallel list on the whiteboard with all the underLining
-she opens the door covers and there’s already a list there. Writer notes Pertaining to the Wycaro book series.
-Lots of intel on there, but let’s stick to the main thing
-which is that Carol lifts an eraser as if to begin erasing the Wycaro notes….but pauses…..and instead of erasing, she folds out another BLANK white board and begins writing notes on what the hive characters might be
-another project
-an obvious metaphor of her turning away from the Wycaro fluff books to a more “serious “ novel
-code cracked
-we just watched Carol start fleshing out plot lines for “Bitter Chrysalus”
-im back, baby!

Maybe there’s AI themes, but would the AI takeover have to come through a rat bite at a Fauci lab? Also, why would AI have a seizure and go into convulsions if you mildly yell at it?
I think that the part about not wanting to hurt anyine is a massively important theme though.
Carol feels bad when she hurts the hive people and sends them into seizures. And the hive has sworn a solemn oath not to hurt Carol or the other 12 and appears to live by it
Neither side wants to hurt the other. And they both think they are doing what’s best. With the progressive side wanting a change to hive communism and Carol and Paraguayan dfb wanting a restoration to make something great again

I’m fairly certain Carol and the man locked inside the storage facility will find a way to wake people up. I also suspect the hive includes a darker, less friendly group, which might steer the show into a direction like the Matrix.

Finally found a photo of the the crucial rossetta stone overhead shot I was talking about at the end of last episode
The Lines and Circles or Lines vs Circles themes are real.
If you thought I was just a kook talking about this, but can now see, go back and start the series all over again. This shite is everywhere
Its interesting that both Zosia and Carol are in the center of this shot when the Circles arecombined/joined with the Lines (all equidistant to the center, etc as discussed earlier)
If you zoom in the theme continues. Multiple circles and lines. The most interesting lines being the two bold lines creating the path at the north where people are entering the circle. And the line made from the South where the hive people have parted to create a Line of access to Zosia….where shes framed in another circle by the bench and the hive crowd gathered in a circle around her
-remember the Circle shaped petri dishes in episode 1????
-When the first infected hive people set up a mass production assembly line swabbing their mouths and smearing their dna onto the the circle petri dishes to grow their infection ??.
