new schemes? With a more athletic QB, I don’t think we’ll be running straight at defenses as much. I think the short toss sweep that we used towards the EOS will be used more, along with quicker developing pass routes. And lots more RPO. Should be fun.

No, that's exactly what the defense would expect.... instead we're gonna trick them by doing the same thing we already do.

I can't wait to watch Saban's head explode when we come out with an A-gap run with an unconvincing fake qb bootleg.

With a more athletic QB faking that shotgun toss pitch thing and running to the other side could be very effective

We’ll have a top 20 offense this season regardless of the inexperience on the line.

Schaffer, Hill, Cleveland and Salyer all have experience. Schaffer and Cleveland both have different issues to overcome, but both should be cleared by Fall. Just need Truss or McClendon to step up at LT.

Offensive line is not gonna be nearly as inexperienced as some make it out to be.

The line isn't really that inexperienced. It's a mixed bag as far as that goes (about average I think), but factoring talent I'd expect them to be a pretty good unit especially if Jones and Van Pran both sign.

Mays screwed this unit royally, but the show will go on.

Also, this isn't the program we want it to be if we need the best O-Line in the country to compete with the big boys. This unit is comparable to others that have made the Playoff, and I expect the offense to be better overall.

I’d say we’ll have a top 5 defense

He will explode with laughter after they beat us by at least 14. What you describe won't happen though. 49ers assistant as co-OC.
