You know Lewis, I cannot really argue. New Orleans has a few nice spots but overall the city has serious issues, got better post Katrina for a bit then started back down.
True I have not been to covington for a long time. Friends and family in Madisonville, Mandeville it is a growing area. So know the area but yes it has been years aside from visiting friends and family.

im guessing dawg days will set up a NOLA to BR bus and tailgate situation since it's basically the same thing as chicago to south bend. i will likely sign up for that, stay in NOLA each night, but be in BR all day Saturday
