What do you think should be done with prediction markets in the US?

I think states should be able to ban them without getting sued by the federal government because the presidents son is on the board. You know, states rights and that sort of thing

The irony of it all. The the technology we built so we wouldn't have to work manual work is taking over the jobs it created so we now have to go back to doing manual work.

Lol is that new talking point? The young people who won't have a job and the rural Americans that are getting their natural resources ruined from AI and data centers are just paid CCP shills? Incredible

So what are your thoughts on China having an edge on America's ability to process ai?

It's a good question. It's tough because Xi can formulate a plan and see it through for X number for years vs our system where are priorities and plans (and corruption) can change every four years.

Then you have the question of do you even want to be the people that win the AI race? I mean some version of it is the future undoubtedly but what does that version look like compared to what we have now? How do you deal with the inevitable job loss that is to come as this stuff gets more and more advanced? That's where having an actual plan and not just flying by the seat of our pants because the biggest companies in the country want to make more money at the cost of the taxpayer. At one point AI related companies were the only thing preventing us from being in a recession so I doubt he current admin will be applying breaks to the runaway train anytime soon

I think the future of energy production is uranium based so I would like to see that integrated with the data centers to reduce the burden on the current grid. SMRs much smaller footprint.

And then I think you also to consider outer space as an option to house data centers or whatever. Musk is on that.

I highly recommend searching out the Twilight Zone episode "The Brain Center at Whipple's"

It calls all this shite out in the 1950's.

Musk has Tesla's notebooks. The answers are in there.

Jk, idk how it would work, but space infrastructure is the next AI boom for stocks if you want to get out of your bonds and live a little.

Latency isn't an issue with AI. So I get my fully produced AI country song created and delivered to me 45 ms more slowly than if the data center was in a nearby city.
