Let me cut through the 4th quarter frustrations for a minute

Is it infuriating that we continue to allow teams to mount 4th quarter comebacks? Yes. Is it a real issue? Absolutely.

BUT:

These are the exact circumstances that we lost to Alabama under in 2017 and 2018 and we have made the plays to win the ball games now 3 times this year.

The defense made a stop against Notre Dame when everyone thought we’d blown it.

Fromm made two huge throws against Florida when everyone thought we were about to blow it.

The defense made two stops against Auburn when the entire country thought we’d blown it.

Are these situations still stupid and avoidable and a flaw in the system? Yes. Am I saying we can afford to do the same thing against LSU? No.

HOWEVER, it is reassuring to me to see us make the plays to actually pull out the wins in those situations. We’re learning something there even if we are still getting ourselves in the messes in the first place.
