DJ Shockley said that SEC Network was filming in the locker room in Jax for SEC Inside. The audio was probably leaked by one of their people.

And Steve Devoursney is the HC of Cairo. He was Griffin's HC for 15 years. Won 120 games, 4 region titles, 3 semis, 5 quarters, and an undefeated and state title team in '13. Only lost in the first round twice. He's an elite coach.

Well, Cairo looked awful and got whooped 48-14. They were never in it from the jump.
CJ Washington had a strip sack for a turnover, but didn't really make a major impact like I expected him to do.
Looks like you had a good one at Darlington.

Yep. 7-6 Tattanll Sq.at half. Darlington gets the ball and scores coming out for the 2nd half and makes the 2 pointer, 14-6.
Tattnall then drives down the field and Darlington stops them on the 1/2 yd.line on 4th down. That changed the game right there. 3 plays later an 85 yd.TD run for Darlington down my sideline and that was it.
Crew looked really good. I am very encouraged that we will get a Quarterfinal next Friday. Just have to be #32, LOL.
All 4 of our association crews had a game this week. I heard you guys only had 2 after having 4 the first week?

Our crew missed the cut by 6 spots. Had to be 32 and we were 38. I want the same crew together next year b/c I feel that strongly that we can make a deep run. And I will let the incoming president know that tomorrow.
I will be the PCO for our #1 crew tomorrow down in Wilcox County. They are playing Manchester. They are currently ranked 17 so they have a good shot at a semi next week.

So, our group only got one semifinal. And shockingly, it’s back at Langston Hughes HS. Not sure I’ve ever seen an association get the same team twice in the same playoff season. At least it’s not the same crew as the previous game.

That is weird. It's happened before, but the GHSA tries to avoid it.

We didn't get a semi. Sucks cuz our #1 crew was 1 spot and a tenth of a point from being in the top-16.
