Fromm hasn't had much support this season. Even when it's been acknowledged, it's been quickly followed up with "well he needs to be better to make up for it". So in essence, he's required to be perfect to make up for the lack of help he gets. That's not exactly a fair request for any QB, much less a humble game manager like Fromm, as people say. You can't expect perfection from anyone. What you can and should expect is a functional team that works together to help each other out. When a QB is off the mark, you need your WRs to adjust and make the catch. We've had that in the past but we haven't had much of that at all this season outside of Cager, who hasn't been able to be out there consistently.

Fromm has been off this season. He's made mistakes. He's hesitated, had improper mechanics at times, struggled with pressure at times, and yes, has been off on many throws, whether that is due to timing, bad routes or whatever doesn't really matter. He's had a tough time this season and he hasn't been picked up as much this season as he has in the past two, like all QBs get. Even watching Fields tonight reminded me of what we had with Godwin making great catches or Wimms using his big frame and good hands to pluck the ball out of the air or fight off defenders. We just haven't had much of that this season, requiring near perfection from Fromm, which he hasn't provided. The shame of it is that he shouldn't have had to be perfect, yet because he hasn't been, that's been the focus.
