That's what happens when you hire 2 bad head coaches in a row. No one is immune. Tennessee from 92-01 was one of the most elite programs in america behind fsu, nebraska, miami, and Florida. After fulmer hung it up they picked kiffin, dooley, and Butch and they will likely not recover for some time. Nebraska has been wandering through the wilderness as well. If you're a major program you can overcome one coaching frick up, but 2 in a row is a major issue and fsu is certainly proof

Not sure he would want it for health reasons but I would have Hired Richt to put the program back to competitive.
