J T is the starting QB for Rice this year. Had a bad day Saturday against Texas. 14 for 26 with 1 TD and 2 Ints. I wish him the best but he did not work out for us. Too injury prone.

-You are correct that injuries are the main story with his time here unforrtuantely
-I think he worked out great for us at that very specific time and place in the universe. HE was awesome and I really don't think people appreciate just how good he was for us in the ever so brief time he was here. He was 7-0 as a starter (including multiple top 10 teams) and in his first 2 games starting for us against MS and SC in '20 he threw some of hte prettiest deep passes I've ever seen at UGA.
-In his first game ever in a UGA uniform he threw for 400 yards on 70% completions and 4 TDs with 0 Int!

One of my biggest takeaways about JT is the same thing I'll say about Jacob Eason. In today's soceity it's so easy to go the Justin Fields route and whine and pout and make excuses and point fingers and make an arse of yourself on the way out lookinbg for more playing time. But both of those highly recruited, 5* QBs didn't do any of that. Both of them remained on the team throughout the entirety of the year that they were benched, never made a scene, were excellent teammates, and quietly transferred after the seaon was over. I've got nothing but love for JT.

Extremely off topic- do you still play around town? Good buddy of mine just moved down there and I was gonna recommend checking out a show if you still do
