If any change is made it'll probably be in February.

One bad season doesn't necessarily necessitate that a change be made. But we all know that Searles has been put on notice to fix it

The fact that "Searles is still being evaluated" is even an option is incomprehensible. Has Kirby ever fired anyone? Saban certainly had no problem showing an underperforming coach the door. If it's his goal to walk in Saban's footsteps then he's gonna have to walk in Saban's footsteps.

Why?

Because he did a lot of the daily grind teaching, was popular with recruits on their visits, has NFL experience now, and would bring a new energy to the room that has fallen off technique wise.

James Coley as.OC after 1 year.

You don't see many coaches fired after one year unless it's incomprehensibly bad. But I definitely think he's in notice.
