Watching our good/ not great teams in the late Richt/ early Kirby years and comparing them to the elite teams of the time(mainly Bama) and feeling like we would never be able to achieve that level of play. Now I think about the USCjr, UF, A&Ms of the world watching us and thinking the same thing. Championship level football is just different.

Wow. I remember watching those same Richt teams and comparing them to those "elites" and bring angry because that's EXACTLY the level of play that UGA could (and should have already) achieve(d).
frick, man, it's why I was so intolerant of Richt.

I was at that game, I was screaming, it’s a fake, watch the fake, but sadly they shite the bed. I told people for 9 years before they let CMR go, that he needed to go, he could not get Ga over that hump to win it all

I was there too…and I knew it was a fake…WVU had used a similar punt formation all night long, setting up the fake in a crucial moment. I wondered to myself how no one in the UGA booth saw that coming.
