Hey Spanky. My name is XXXXXX in real life but my user name on GSB is Xxxxxx. Stupid name, I know. Came up with it years ago . Anyway, I graduated from UGA in 93 and have been a Dawg since my dad started taking me to games in the 70s. I am 44 and have a wife and 4 kids. Three girls and a boy. They range in age from 15 to 4. Three years ago I was diagnosed with Stage IV Lymphoma. I underwent 4 1/2 months of chemo and fortunately beat the odds and went into remission. Late 2012, after 4 months of remission, the cancer relapsed and the odds were very stacked against me. I underwent extremely aggressive chemo and total body irradiation....culminating in a stem cell transplant. I lived over 70 days at Emory while fighting to live for my family. Miraculously, I was blessed to win that fight again and have been in remission since Feb of 2013. I am thankful daily for every moment I spend with my wife and children. The cancer treatments took both a financial and physical toll on me though. I have irreparable damage to my right leg and lower spine and still not able to work as I continue to recover. I am gaining ground but it has been a slow process. My son, Xxxxxx, is 8 and can't recall the only game he has been to when he was three. My 4 year old daughter has never been as her life span has been almost entirely while I was sick. She has a UGA cheer leader costume and I all but promised her I would take her to her first game this year. My wife and I decided Troy would be our best shot to get reasonable tickets. I would like to take her to her first game next week but was discouraged to see most tickets in the $80 per ticket range on eBay and various other secondary markets. I would love to have them if they are available and you don't find anyone more deserving.
