Effort, one would assume they are free to go and play immediately.

No. Our 3rd string would beat them by 5 TDs. UConn is an awful, awful team who would not have been good enough to qualify for the FCS playoffs last year if they played at that level.

Andy Isabella played for UMass, not UConn.

Everyone freaking out that UCONN canceled their season but I’m old enough to remember last year when the season ended pre covid that there were talks of dissolving the program because it actually costs the school money. Whereas programs like oh say Georgia bulldogs football actually fund most of The other athletics.
