That clip tells me Kirby doesn't believe what he is saying, just stubborn and thinks he has all the answers and can always fall back on "it's the process" rhetoric.

He will lose a few more this year because of his inability to admit that he isn’t always right. Have you ever heard him say that “yes, I would like to have that one back. Probably wasn’t the best call for that moment.”?
