That was the excuse. They also used the "he hasn't played anyone" excuse. He's played Penn State, Wisconsin, and now Michigan, three good teams.

B-B-B-But Fields isn't accurate, he doesn't have the QB acumen to be any good. This is gonna go down as one of Kirby's biggest screwups

I hate to say it but those who said that Fields takes off running off after his first progression were wrong . 3 of his touchdown passes today he threw after his pocket collapsed. Kids a gamer.
