Wow. But you can’t name a single reason why you can’t stand him? Not one that actually involves policy at least

A black guy was president recently. 80% of the rich guys on the field tomorrow are black. Black people are the only people in my everyday life that I hear say racist shite with impunity. I get to hear black people say all Asian people look the same while they get pissed if someone even insinuates that two black siblings resemble each other. Then after hearing all the racist shite black people say around me, if I say anything about them being racist, I have to hear about how black people can't be racist. You can get off your high, virtue signaling horse. You're full of shite.

This isn't the politics forum
True, but charges of racism have made their way into the discussion about UGA sports, and since it's basically the off-season now, what's the harm?

and why would I bang my head against the wall trying to convince someone as ignorant as you of anything.
You've done quite a lot of this with the Fields/Fromm discussion this season. Suddenly you act as if it's too much of a chore when a real discussion comes up. Why?

quote:

One only needs to see your ridiculous and slavish defense of Fromm to know that it would be a waste of time.
My defense of Fromm has been a direct result of the ignorant attacks against him this season. If you and a few others here had any semblance of rationality, you'd be able to see that our problems on offense are much, much bigger than Fromm, and I'd be happy to talk more specifically about the issues Fromm has had. Given that you especially have chosen to ignore the other major factors in favor of trashing a DGD because he dared to be trusted as the starter over the future of Georgia football last season, I've been having to spend more energy than I frankly care to trying to point out the stupidity of your position.

I could give you a thousand sources that show the evidence of institutionalized racism]
Just provide one. I want to make sure you even know what institutional racism actually is.

quote:

you will ignore it.
I won't ignore it. I may disagree with you and attempt to rebut what you've got to say, but I won't ignore it.

quote:

Ah, the old I have black friends argument. The defense of nearly every racist.
I think you missed the point. He didn't just have black friends. He had influential, powerful, and highly respected friends in the black community as friends and friendly acquaintances. He was liked and well respected for years until he became political. That's when the racism allegations started. It's almost as if that's the go-to attack by leftists who can't make rational arguments.

quote:

His history of racist statements and acts are well documented. Look it up. It has nothing to do with being a Republican. There are liberal and conservative racists.
Again, you miss the point. I'm not saying he can't be racist because he's a Republican or that he couldn't be racist when he was a Democrat. My point is that for years public figures have been lambasted for being racists, publicly and privately, and yet Trump was able to work with members of the NAACP and the Rainbow Coalition for years without issue until he decided to run for President.

I think I finally understand the hate for fromm by a few dudes on here has more to do with him being a white redneck beating out a promosing young black man than the actual level of play.

This is the stupidest take I've read yet.

Fact: One guy is clearly better than another. He's the same kid from last season playing in a brand new system. Obviously he's not perfect and still growing, but he's so much better that one simply can't be objective and still say keeping him off the field was the right decision.

Last night the kid came in hobbled, was very limited running, and had one of his worst starts. He rallied and it ended pretty average for him, but that game would have been Fromm's best game of the season. Keep in mind that's being so limited running that Fromm rushed for more yards.

Almost nobody still thinks this is a debate. Yet your idiotic take to another Dawg fan is, "You only like him because he's black." Look yourself in the mirror, dude. You look like a fricking clown.

love nothing more than for Fromm to be killing it as the best QB in America. Sadly, he isn't.

One more thing about the waiver BS.

If he had pulled something where he made up an incident to smear my school I'd be on board with the vitriol. This reaction, however, makes us all look bad.

His lawyer used this incident that happened as one part of a request to help get him a waiver to play football. Who has more info than that? Everything he said about Georgia has been positive.

Holding onto this makes you guys look like spurned girlfriends who won't admit you're wrong.

The fact is we have the wrong QB playing at UGA right now. Not because of who he is or the color of his skin or his accent, but because he is worse at football. You know football - the main subject of this entire forum?

You guys being butthurt and obstinate or trying to deflect this to politics won't change that.
