Aaron Murray said that he thinks we got in too deep of a hole to bring him into the game. Apparently he’s not that great of a blocker, so bringing him in would let Bama know we are going to run him.

If we/they actually believe that, bring him in as a decoy on a play action once or twice.

Brooks Austin seemed to hint (kind of a “I was told but not specifically told”) that he had made some dumb freshman mistake that may have gotten him in the doghouse for a bit. Something along the lines of showing up late to a meeting or missing a team lift or something. Then the way the game played out it wasn’t really conducive to him needing to play much anyways.
