I don't think I've watched a game that Brad and Gary have called all year, which is a shame since I like Brad a lot. Crazy how they go from calling UGA BAMA to zero important games in the Big Ten.

I personally love these ABC triple-headers we've been getting this year. 11 straight hours of marquee SEC football without changing the channel.

Just weird for Brad and Gary to be calling like the 10th best game of the weekend. Wonder if they will leave after their contract is up. They are calling Beth Mowins level games

If we go to a 9 game schedule, what should be our ransom? It's an additional 8 SEC v SEC games, what's each of those game worth, do you think?

Good question. Idk what the current contract is. But after the success of this first year, id say the SEC could ask for a 20% increase and probably get it.
I hope we go to 9 games but sounds like there is push back from other schools. 9 makes most sense to me for keeping important rivalries.

It's going to 9 for the sole reason that the SEC can make more money that way. Literally nothing else has anything to do with it. All the discussions about positives and negatives and this and that, it's all just fan talk. The SEC and the Schools give zero fricks if it's going to make them more money, that's what they are going to do. I hate to be that cynical but after seeing what I've seen transpire to this point, I don't see any other logical outcome.
I'll throw a number out for a 9th game ransom. $10million per extra game = $80 million contract increase.
