They use a special kind of oil and I think you need freeze dried potatoes. Trying to shred and do it yourself never seems to work. I tried multiple times to mimic them and never could get it right.

Their hashbrown secret is most likely some lab created heart attack juice. Which is why its so damn good and cheap for them to use

I figured out the riddle. Google doesn't return any results for Flavor Fry, but that's because it was called "Flav-o-fry" per my BIL.
