Dawgs have lost 5 in a row, and if we can't take the series this weekend against Alabama I don't think we will win a series all year.

It really is perplexing.

Here's a guy who has taken teams to the CWS and done well, just short of winning it.

He's been a good recruiter just coming off the no.1 rated recruiting class this year (before the June draft).

But, has been inconsistent throughout.

Not sure where the disconnect is, but it ain't working now. Why so good earlier in his tenure, but not in the last few years?

My guess is Perno's former success was due to superior talent. Now he's not getting the same level of talent and he's not able to coach up our players to be more collectively as a team. Chizik obviously in football is a good example of this type of coach. It's not the championship years when you are able to put together a superior talented team that defines a great coach but rather the off years when you take a group of average players and make a solid team out of them.

When the season first began and he lost a couple games, I thought y'all should just see how this plays out, but then when he lost to either Ga State or Kennesaw State (sp) I changed my mind and thought y'all should get rid of him sooner, rather than later, if you had a decent Asst who could take over.

It never seems to be safe with the way UGA athletics has been for the past several years.

Alabama is worlds better than Tennessee so I see you guys taking UT pretty easily.
