From what I've seen, the workouts conducted in the off-season are not doing an efficient job of keeping our guys healthy. That's the problem here Gator. If we didn't lose half our team to injuries this year, I would not bring up the S&C, but it is a pretty serious issue bud.

While strength and conditioning do have an affect on injury prevention and recovery, it is hard to isolate it as a cause or the sole cause in this case. There are just too many variables.

After a little more research, I've found another issue with our S&C and it's because we don't have a real S&C program. Comparing us to Bama, this is how we stack up on one of the most important pieces to a real SEC team. It also shows why we do not match up with them on any level. We can't develope recruits when you train with guys like we have compared to what they have out into S&C. Believe me, Scott Cochran is not the best S&C coach in the nation and there are a few schools who have better guys, who would die to come to UGA! We just don't think it's that important.
