We seeing Kolton tonight or probably this weekend

I’d assume not til this weekend but not out of realm of possibility that he throws tonight

If he's going to be counted on as a rotation starter and he goes tonight, does that mean he'd rest again until the FGC series?

Probably which is why I think we will save him for this Friday to get him on a normal schedule. No rush to start him when he hasn’t begun the season

Lo and behold, Kolten getting the start tonight though no telling how long he goes

KSU leads in the first 1-0 on a sac fly to right
I think we may already be on pace to set a school record for double plays batted into

Good at getting on base through walks but can’t produce timely hits

I’m out Tyler you got this one

4-0 KSU in the 2nd. Caldwell in to pitch for Kolten.
Really shite start to the last 2 games all around

Dawgs get a couple back in the 4th
4-2 KSU and Dawgs hve bases loaded with 1 out
Back to back strikeouts from Phelps and McCarthy. Hoping this team is just off starting 5 games on the road because this has been a rough showing at the plate. We’re patient to a fault and then press when we hve runners on

4-2 in the 4th but the guys you’d expect to take mature ABs are still watching strikes and swinging at junk

Bright side, Justin Byrd has faced 5 and struck out 5 on the mound. Looks really good.

So basically other then the first game same as last weekend

Same as Sunday for sure. Just not taking mature ABs; being patient but getting behind in counts almost every time. Patience only works at the plate when you’re forcing the pitcher to be perfect and punishing him when he isn’t. We ain’t punishing anyone

Yea get batters on base by walks and runs by wild pitches really makes me feel good.

Alford gets a base hit and Obee walks but Adams pinch hits and stares at strike three on a 2-2 count with 2 out.
Just fricking awful plate presence.
