When DJ Daniel initially committed to South Carolina, there was speculation that his UGA offer was contingent on academically qualifying to enroll early.
That line of thinking would suggest that he committed to USCe to save face and “secure a spot”. Not sure how the GMC academic calendar works, but perhaps he got the credit or score he needed to ensure EE status.

I was being sarcastic because peoole like to point to one loss in black jerseys as to why we shouldn't ever wear them.
I think if it's a big recruiting weekend then it kinda makes sense to wear black since the kids love those jerseys.

If we close how we expect and also get Haselwood and/or Emery back in the fold, will finish 1 or 2.

I was the main one that did not think we could overtake OSU. And I'm glad I was wrong. Things fell into place.
It will be hard to overtake Alabama this year, imo. But I do think a top 3 finish with an outside shot at #2 is possible. A lot of the big time recruits are committed...but it would not surprise me if we got Haselwood back.
If I had to make a specific guess I would go with #2.

I don't think NCState will lose their DLine commits. they will be more interested in getting to the NFL and, I think, their entire DLine went to the NFL last year.
I mean, Kirby has shown that it is possible, but I think NCState holds on to them.

Alabama will take several more players than us this year so it's very doubtful that we over take them.
