Rumor out of high school was that the kid wasn’t as strong as you’d like. They were saying he wasn’t a weight room warrior by any means and with what Kirby is creating he could be having a hard time catching on there due to a poor work ethic in the weight room.

Did I miss something? When did Gibbs become a lost cause? I thought he was supposed to be a stud and remember him getting some playing time in the beginning of the year.

Don't remember exactly when it happened, maybe after the Vandy game, he stopped getting mop up time, didn't travel with the team for the last few games and rumors started circulating that he didn't have his head on straight. He has a lot of talent, hope he gets it together.

Gibbs will be back. He's gonna be fine. Would watch out for him to step up in the spring actually.

- that's a fast draft on the depth. I'll include 19 targets, and we'll get it like we want.
I did just through some up with much thought on where they were listed. Did it on my phone in about 15 minutes.

Sitting in the movies watching CoCo with girls 8,6, & 3. I'll be happy to get back to it when I can lol
Lots of PWO's I've heard and that have been mentioned here.
Would be nice to show the actually walk-on talent Schumann is grabbing up.

A scout team roster in Fall would be nice as well. Not much gets out about those showing out on scout. Not many allowed to see it, and they would know leaks lol. Seeing that would give ya a good clue at what done young guys are doing against the 1's.
That's only mostly on install though, as we mostly go 1 v 1 & 2 v 2, but some have showed out this year and in camp this year.
Speed, Landers, Beal, and Wilson have looked great. We wanted several opportunities to redshirt guys this year imo, but I'm in a movie theater in Albany, and the boss is packing up roses!!!!

Thanks Fib!

So you're the guy with his screen lit up in the theater.

Americus, what is the deal with Gibbs? I’m not buying the medical condition and UGA has been coy. Not even the beat writers can explain his situation.

From what I have been told, Gibbs effort on the football side isn't the problem. No reason to rule him out entirely but I wouldn't count him into the rotation until he is actually with the team again.

That's a pretty safe bet. Hard to break the 2 deep when not with the team.

He's cleared. When he practices/plays is up to him. This happens. Several ways to motivate kids. Kirby speaks for UGA football and most, if not all of this, is about kids, their families, their coaches in high school, etc. It's his business and he does well keeping it close to the vest.

Doesn't help having the fish wrapper report every fart. Surprised they're even able to watch the little bit of stretching they see at practices they're allowed, then complain about it

He should shut media completely out. Wouldn't surprise me to see it happen in a few years actually.

They know. They know who runs the show as well.

Y’all remember when Spurrier banned the Myrtle Beach newspaper at Carolina? I thought he was a douche for doing it but I would support Kirby banning some people that apparently make a career of digging up dirt on our program.

Probably deserves its own topic.

That's what I'm getting at. Like it or not, school is a part of the equation. When Gibbs decides to do all that is asked of him, he will play. Until then, Kirby can't accept anything less.

We agree, I might be a tad more optimistic

This is part of his problem. I was also told before he committed by someone who coached him that he’s not a fan of contact.

I was not a fan of his coming out of high school.

He was damn near invisible in the Grayson-IMG game last year.

Yeah he did not look good at all in that game, very obviously avoided any type of contact IIRC. With all the DBs we took last year I assumed a couple would end up on offense, wouldn't surprise me if Gibbs is one of those.

I always figured he would make a great WR after seeing some of those highlights.

Side note and PSA for the readers, the Alex Jones level conspiracy theory being spun on the SEC Recruiting board by our Florida and auburn friends is a thing of beauty and deserves a read.
