The man crush Nolan and Xavier have for each other is borderline homo.

Twitter means nothing first of all... secondly... "died together" = past tense. Nothing says he won't end up at Clemson, but right now we sure look to have a pretty good handle on the situation.

Nolan Smith-Dawgnation

Sounds like we're in a pretty good spot with him for now.

When the kid gets asked about the impending separation anxiety he will have without his bestie, I might feel better about signing him.

I mean if it comes down to it, and they want to cuddle for the foreseeable future, we can find room for XT

What's up, fellas?

Have y'all heard anything recently regarding Adam Anderson?

A guy on one of our boards is saying he will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend, but I haven't seen any mods confirm it.

Was he in Athens Saturday night?

Whatup TS... He was in Athens for the Miss St game. By all accounts, it was a good visit. I have heard some rumblings that he might be more concerned with KJ Henry and some others looking at UGA though... not sure that would push him Bama's way though ... but who the hell knows what goes on in the minds of 17-18 year old kids. You'd think that he'd have seen we rotate guys like Deandre Walker, freshman Walter Grant, etc in... no one's getting left on the bench if they can contribute.

He was in Athens last Saturday. He's a tough one to read because he's pretty quiet but it sounds like this will be a battle b/w UGA and Bama. Haven't seen any UGA insiders flip their predictions away from UGA, but most have acknowledged that y'all have made up a lot of ground since he de-committed from LSU.

How confident are y'all on Nadab Joseph? One of the insiders on our Rivals site put him in his predicted class for UGA, said he has some family in the area and we've quietly been in the mix for a while now. I know Bama has been the presumed favorite since he de-committed from LSU. Sounds like he'll visit us for the USCe game.

Bama is in it more than we like. Still leaning our way ATM.
Y'all look good with Quay Walker from everyone I've talked to down here.
Just leave Anderson alone

Our mods all seem pretty confident he will be one of our next commits, if not THE next commitment we get.

However, they are all guessing so who really knows?

I read yesterday that Tyson Campbell has some family in the Atlanta area as well. You lucky bastards.

I think this kid ends up at either Auburn or Florida State to be honest. No kid committed to Alabama should ever show up in full Auburn gear regardless of if he was in Auburn or not.

He also spent the night in Auburn after visiting Tuscaloosa for our game against Fresno State.

They do have Martavious Bryant and they are supposedly close.

Yeah, they were teammates.
Bryant wanted to go to LSU bad. Had no clue he showed up in barn gear

You can has Nadab if we can has Campbell... deal?

Unfortunately I really have a feeling he's going UM unless they shite the bed hard this season.

I agree. We already have Cameron Latu and Jordan Davis committed and supposedly lead for Eyabi Anoma. Not to mention KJ Henry on our side either.

Hell, we've already played 16 or 17 True Freshman so far.

Uh, no.

We are in desperate need of corners in this class. For Saban being a defensive back coach we have really missed on our corner evaluations in the last 2-3 years. I mean, we have a walk-on (who is a stud) starting over four or five 4-star kids. Our depth is abysmal due to bad evals.

The one thing I keep seeing from the Miami mods is he hasn't visited them hardly at all and he's right down the road.

I'm surprised he let him commit to be honest.

More than one of our "insiders" said his off the field issues needed to be vetted before we would take his commitment in the first place.

Red flags are never a good thing.

Smart playing 4D chess and tanking a few evals once he was on the way out...

I am really excited for what I'm seeing out of Smart and Tucker's work with our DBs. They are a drastically improved group thus far and we've got some impressive young talent behind the starters. Hoping that they can make the same kind of progress either during this season or going into next... particularly with guys exiting the program this year.

I've heard similar, but I don't think he's been making many trips period since the season started IIRC. Towards the beginning of the season he was actively working with UM guidance around programs/classes/etc according to one of the UM insiders on another board. So more than simply football discussions... I'm sure that happens elsewhere (lining up classes, making sure they've got what they need to get in, etc) but more than simple I like the football program kinds of discussions as well.

Sure hope we have a chance at him. Kid is special.
