With Hurts suspect at throwing the ball, I suspect you will see a lot of man-to-man in the secondary with some help supporting the run.

Alabama has a talent advantage at this point, so we will have to depend on preparation, game plan, and "want it more than the other guy". We will have to execute, protect the ball and cut down on penalties. It's trite, and sounds simple, but a lot of teams can't do that.

You do realize Jalen Hurts is his QB, right? Bama could start prime Jerry Rice and it wouldn't matter if Jalen Hurts is still their quarterback.

Hurts is not an elite QB by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't think he is as bad as you think he is. Great? No. Bad? No. People who expect him to come out and not be able to complete a pass are in for a rude awakening.

Team topping 30 points is not "fairly low scoring"... at best, it's an "average scoring game"...

This actually raises an interesting point. Here are the stats: LINK

Alabama - points per game 2017 - 36.4
Georgia - points per game 2017 - 35.8

So my "fairly low scoring game" prediction is actually below the average of both teams. Though granted both teams' defenses are higher ranked than their offenses.

No doubt, and I don't mean to insinuate he's "bad", but I don't think he's good either. He's serviceable. Outside of Auburn, he hasn't faced a defense like UGA's. In the Iron Bowl, he was 12/22 for 112yds and QBR of 46. He did rush for 82 yards but it took him 18 carries to get there. I think our defense is better than Auburn's and Roquan has proven time and again that he can make a big difference when it comes to containing qbs who can run....Auburn didn't have anything close to a Roquan in the Iron Bowl.

The only reason I started down this road is because that Smervis or whatever the frick his name is started yapping about Ridley being the difference-maker in this game. Calvin Ridley can only be a difference maker if he has someone who can consistently get the ball to him despite pocket pressure and good downfield coverage. Jalen Hurts can't.

UGA 26 Bama 19 Chubb and Sony WILL NOT LET THAT TEAM LOSE. It’s evident in the Rose Bowl. These guys came back for a reason... that reason is 1/8/18 @ 8:17EST
