Seeing pictures of o-linemen who weren't good enough to start this yeAr doesn't make me turn back flips. IRB and receivers do, though.

Notice I didn't post anything about Theus. Every time Houston came in for Theus, Houston dominated.

Even though Houston wasn't officially a starter, he played better then the guy he was backing up.

So I inlcuded a pic of Houston, and not Theus. Although, I am hopeful Theus is serviceable.

Yes it is.

I'll give you an example. Auburn Game. Dee Ford sacked Murray twice, off Theus. Houston came in, Murray never got sacked again from that side.

Now you give me an example where Theus outplayed Houston.

Begin now.

I remember Mizzou he was dreadful. I also remember him looking like shite vs Vanderbilt. He's way overweight and has feet slower than mollasses. He also leaves a bit to be desired in the run game.

He aint an SEC tackle. Guard, maybe. Tackle, nope.

ETA: and all 3 tackles looked like fricking garbage vs AU, sack or no sacks.

Him being more effective than Theus doesn't make him dominant. Not one member of that OL is remotely close to dominant.

Houston NEVER dominated anybody, and he is the reason for Theus' regression. The coaches felt he was entitled to play because the NCAA had screwed him over for 3 years, so they rotated him with a guy who started and played pretty well in 13 games as a true freshman. I think Theus said screw y'all this year because he got dicked around by Friend, Bobo and Richt!

With that schedule we should go at least 9-3 with possible losses to every decent team on the schedule: Clemson, SC, Missouri and Auburn. Hopefully we can win one of those 4.

Uhhh--couldn't find a play to get a first down against Vandy in three consecutive possessions in the fourth quarter.

What does he do during games??

He never has the team up and ready to play at least two games a year and we lose those
Thats one thing he does too lose a game

True. The AU game really demonstrated that. We looked like a FCS team for three quarters and then the same players looked like champions for a quarter.

Was that CMR or was that CMB? Or, was that just bad execution among a makeshift offense (back to the injury thing)?

Not sure I understand this. Is it that he never has the team up and ready to play, or is it that he doesn't have them up and ready to play at least two games a year?

If that's true (about the two games a year being solely on him), then I'm curious what he does differently for those two games compared to the rest, where the team appears to be up and ready to play.

Once the game starts, the head coach (unless he personally is calling plays for the offense or defense) is usually just a game manager. Not sure what he has personally done lately during games that has lost it for us.

Two games a year.? Are you serious? We habitually play down or beneath the level of inferior opponents. Let's not just stop at losses. There have been a number of eeked out wins against clearly inferior opponents where the team has been flat/sloppy: ie. the worse UF and UT teams in years. We are renown nationally for being underachievers.
