Belgium (I was just there)
Italy - ???? (the northern parts speak more German than Italian)

I’ll bet Namibia is on the list.

The Skeleton Coast is on the top of what I want to see in Africa.

Luxembourg's official language is Luxembourgish, a kind of german dialect. A close second here is French.

Belgium is French in the South and Dutch in the north. A large part of the country identifies ethnically with the Dutch.

Ok, the moment we've all been waiting for!

If you said 6, you win! Nuthin'. No toilet paper. No hand sanitizer. No wipes. Nuthin. But at least we had some fun while quarantining.

How many European countries speak German as an official language?

Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Belgium, Austria, and, of course, Germany all claim German as an official language. With 95 million people in the world who speak German as their primary language, the country of Germany is home to only 78 percent of the world’s German speakers (74 million), with the second-largest German-speaking population residing in Austria. That leaves about 20 million German speakers belonging to countries other than Germany. Although official in only six European countries, German is also a minority language in several others, both in Europe and abroad. Namibia, Kazakhstan, and Brazil are three countries outside of Europe that feature German as a minority language.
