OT: Austin recommendations

With Florida playing @UT this year I am considering going to the game, depending on my schedule this fall and if the gators don’t suck again (fingers crossed)

What are some things to do in Austin for someone who has never been? Heard the music scene is/was great and I’ve heard some long time residents complain about changes in the scene (not just 6th st but in general) and I am looking for some up to date perspectives on what to do and what not to do.
