Sumlin is 3-10 vs. Ranked Opponents at Kyle.

Just in Big 12 play alone, Slocum was 7-4 vs. Ranked Opponents at Kyle.

He had a great run at A&M. Of course Sherril left him with a loaded team . RC offenses the last few years were not good at all. He was on a downward trend going 21-15 his last 3 seasons.. He fell behind the times on offense. Ultimately cost him his job.

Love me some RC and Jackie, but let's be honest. It's a lot easier to rack up the winning percentage when your "off" games in the conference are Rice, SMU, TCU, Baylor, and Tech than when they are Miss. St., Ole Miss, Arky, and USCe.
