Has there ever been a precedent set for a formally fired head coach to come back to said team years later as specialty coach, and coach under the guy he was replaced by?

I believe he is unemployed. And I really really liked him as a human being.

I'm just sayin' is all.

Edit: it would also be awesome to see him coaching the hogs during practice with 2 Chainz flowin' in the background.

I would love it but I think the style of play he coached is a great deal different from what we run as far as blocking with the wide splits and all that. Not saying he can't do it or it can't be adapted but those fundamental differences seem to be important. And that's assuming he would even consider it

Yeah that still pisses me offwhen I think about it. I was all for letting him go, but the chicken shite way it was done was embarrassing.
