The next round of realignment is going to be a clusterfrick. But one thing is for sure; Iowa State, Kansas State, TCU, and Baylor are all fricked. They either bring no TV markets or their fan base is too small.

This is kind of what we talked about above - if they're getting left out then a a conference is making a conscious decision to hold at 14 teams instead of doing up to 16 (maybe that happens, who knows) or they're getting replaced by Group of 5 schools

Or better yet, switch Arkansas and A&M and I think you're good. If the SEC expands with 2 more Big12 teams, I have to think that A&M administration pushes big time to not end up "podded" with all their old conference teams. Can't imagine Arkansas would be too opposed as they would basically get a fresh start against a easier pod.

Then I hope the SEC drops the permanent rival game and moves to 9 conference games. Each team would play 3 division games within their own pod ever season and play 2 teams from ever other pod that rotates every season. A&M would play every SEC team every 2 years and complete a home and home every 4 years.

Funny stuff. At the OKC v Golden State game last night there was a sign that said "Never Trust a Longhorn".
