I'm not going to spend a lot of time debating Jerryworld. I've been there for about 10 events now and it always seems to be a very stale atmosphere. I'm not even sure I can put a reason on it but it just seems too nice. The bigger the crowd the better the atmosphere for sure but it's very much a corporate environment. I don't enjoy it but many do and we all have various tastes so there is no point arguing it.

That said, this venue was a very bad match for Sherman. He took a very professional approach and our team seemed to play flat there lacking energy. Sumlin gets college kids and he will make this a special deal. He'll sell this game as a special event even if he secretly hates it (not saying he does, only that it doesn't matter). And let's face it, JerryWorld, or any stadium, is a lot better experience walking out with a win.

Been there a half dozen times or so. Seen the Ags there 3 times including this CB and the Cowboys there a few times. Place keeps growing on me.

This year we had club seats (C333) for the CB. Must tell you that this level blows Reliant Stadium out of the water. We are club level season ticket holders for the Texans so I am speaking from experience. Night and day difference and it isn't even close.

Reliant money was spent on a roof that rarely opens. JWorld spent money on a TV that is on the entire time.

JWorld has plenty of atmoshphere.

There isn't going to be a sudden rush of other SEC fans that show up either. If that were the case they would have already shown up to the first three games. The only thing that'll help attendance is to drastically reduce the prices for tickets and that's unlikely to happen.

Disagree. Before it wasn't a conference game, I bet the first Arky/A&M game as an SEC matchup easily beats all other attendances of the Southwest Classic.

the only way it does that is if Johnny Football is still on the team and Arky comes in ranked.

I doubt it b/c Arky will still be crap.

It has more to do with seats. I was there vs Arky in the upper deck and it sucked. Not loud. Screen distracting. Couldn't tell who had ball on play action plays.

This year, 7 rows up from players on end of field where the warmed up, sang war hymn, goal line stand vs OU, JFF rushing TD, trophy presentation. First class concession stand. Etc.
Still not loud though.
