Mixed feelings but I’d love to have him back.

I'd love to see the kid get a chance but it'd be awesome if he came back for his SR year and seriously improved his draft stock.

Unfortunately, IMO if a guy like Boomer can't make it, I don't think Helman will either.

Btw, meant to comment on this. I get super annoyed when Tuesday games aren't on tv now. I get it. But a couple of games a year not in BCS can be worth it. Play @ UTSA or @ UTA/DBU/TCU or whatever. It gives local games for fans that won't travel.

If it were me making the schedule 3 things I change

1. drop the 2nd terrible weekend series and go to two home/home series instead so that one OOC w/e series is on the road every year.
2. Make the now two "good" OOC series 4-games and drop a couple of shitty midweek games.
3. Schedule 3 midweek road games - UH/Rice, TCU/DBU/UTA, and 1 other (UTSA/Sam/sips/Baylor). We're almost doing this (We played TAMCC and Rice on road this year) but this should be min.

That's a pretty simple formula that wouldn't significantly increase the difficulty of our schedule in reality but would pump up our RPI.

Helman went in the 11th round. I worry a deal was worked out last night since the slot money is a lot less restricted after the 10th round.
