back to recruiting news, JaMycal Hasty committed to Baylor today. Not too surprising really. Good get for them. I think he'll do well there.

was just about to post that. not surprising at all. good pick up for them

I feel bad for that kid in a way because he wanted to be an Ag, but got beat to the punch by Bradford and Anderson. But yeah, I think Baylors a good fit for Hasty as well. Briles has shown good things with running backs last couple seasons.

he was recruited as a slot receiver, not RB. He'll be good at that eventually but he's a lot like Quiv, a bit undersized and not a natural WR but just electric speed.

He just needs to get the ball in space

Noel Ellis Sr will be coaching linebackers at St Augustine next season
Lot of people have been disputing this is happening. But Noel Ellis Jr just retweeted this a second ago and I imagine he'd know

Is that a NOLA area high school?
Posted on 3/29/14 at 4:27 pm to WestCoastAg
it's the NOLA high school. They just crank out D1 talent. Last year Fournette (LSU), CB Jermaine Roberts (sips), and OG Joseph Paul (OU) all came from St. Aug. One notable alums is Honey Badger
I saw an ULSU thread about the fact that something like 34 players who played at St. Aug have made it to the NFL. Trai Turner (LSU OL who declared for draft) will be the next

it's Baylor. They could have been doing it for 5 years and no one noticed

I don't know what's better. #dreambigdreambaylor or that no one notices when briles tweets out when a kid commits

damn. oh well. its not siverand, kirk, or lodge

He's good. Very smooth, polished. But I think all 3 of those, Johnson, and Chigbu are definitely higher on our board so assuming we can get 3 of them, I don't think this is a big deal at all. And honestly I think we lead for everyone but Johnson.

I think I asked this a while ago but I don't remember the answer. if chigbu wanted to commit right now, would we accept it? or are we waiting for siverand, kirk, etc
