The best way to silence them is to ignore them, don't even acknowledge them, don't fall for their provocations. 
It would be different in a real world situation where a strong response may be warranted, but in a message board, trolls die when you ignore them.

We all know that Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State are in cahoots since they think they run the NCAA. First they get Michigan, then they try to go after us which failed so spectacularly.

theCAW is a troll. How does he stay? There seem to be a few who do nothing but attack and troll, and the admins look the other way.

The main board is a cesspool. Always has been, always will be. The actual discussion happens on the team boards.

Same guy. The rant is a cesspool that I treat that way unless it’s a decent discussion. I treat the team boards with respect because I love to discuss football and there is usually actual discussion and not trolling
