I think he's going to need time to bring his players in. He's not following Kelly who already had the system and players in place so it's going to take time to get where he wants to go. Defensively, I'm not sold on his retread hires from UGA. They were fired for a reason and it's amplified when CMR lets someone go because he rarely does it.

I agree with you on the off season hires being questionable to say the least.

What I do like from what I've seen and heard is that Butch takes charge of every group to some extent regardless of the position coach and let's that coach know this is what I want, this is what style I want and this is how we're going to play and develop it. He's playing a huge role in the development of positions on the team from what he wants done and expects. He did it at Central Michigan and Cincy and he's doing it here. The media says he's been calling out players and coaches alike in practice to get on it

Not to say Jancek won't make shitty calls, but I'm hopefull we don't get beat from a developmental standpoint like AU last year.

We'll see what happens, he's got a lot of momentum going in every facet of the program right now. Hopefully that will translate to the field as well
