first, what offense were they in today? I havent seen them that vanilla this year. Anybody else think they gave up and started saving players in the first half?
Second, what are the chances that Florida wins out?
Last, am I the only one who is surprised by this bad of a beating? Apparently Bama is way better than I thought.
Thanks for the input. GBO

I'm not surprised, we had nothing left on defense this week. Down 3 OL starters. And Bama is really fricking good

Dobbs had maybe 2 seconds to throw the ball every time he dropped back. Alabama were capable of rushing 3 and getting near instant pressure. Every time Bama blitzed, their CBs would press our WRs at the line, and by the time any receiver got separation it was too late.
Screens and dump offs to Kamara were sniffed out immediately, Bamas DBs and LBs all tackle extremely well and flew to the ball. He was completely taken out out of the game by Bamas defense.
We obviously weren't going to run the ball, even with a full strength o line. Not a team in America can successfully run the ball on them. Their linebackers would beat the RBs to the line of scrimmage every single play.
I want to blame Debord, but I genuinely cannot think of anything that our offense could have done successfully when Richmond and Hall are getting beat on every play.

Im mostly a positive guy, this does nothing to dash my hopes. This team is still every bit as good as they were last week, Bama is just a machine. For the first time in my life, I will be an Arkansas fan when they play Florida. My sons girlfriend watched the game with us, she is a Hog fan. She giggled alot durin the game.

You're exactly fricking right. Fans booing and those blaming the coaches need to do a little thinking. Fact is Alabama whipped our arse. That defense is good and looked even better with the patchwork line. Not much Debord can dial up considering the circumstances.

I will be very surprised if Florida wins out
Bama is really, really fricking good. It's scary
Play calling was prettt shitty IMO but it's not like I think it'd have made much difference. Gotta try though
